Online Information Session: Capacity-Building in Higher Education (CBHE) (05.12.2024, online)
On 5 December 2024, the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) held an online information session dedicated to funding opportunities under the Capacity-Building in Higher Education (CBHE) action within the 2025 calls.
The CBHE action supports international cooperation projects through multilateral partnerships among organisations operating in the higher education sector. This initiative aims to enhance the relevance, quality, modernisation, and adaptability of higher education in non-associated partner countries of the Erasmus+ Programme, contributing to socio-economic recovery, growth, and prosperity. Special attention is given to addressing contemporary challenges, including economic globalisation, the decline in human development levels, increasing vulnerabilities, and socio-economic and environmental inequalities.
During the event, speakers presented updated guidelines and approaches for preparing project proposals and shared practical advice along with step-by-step recommendations.
Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine, participated in the session to gain new insights, particularly regarding the latest requirements for the calls, best practices for proposal preparation, and opportunities for Ukrainian universities. She highlighted the importance of Ukraine’s participation in the CBHE action to strengthen the higher education system, enhance institutional capacity, and foster international partnerships.
